I offer psychotherapy to individuals and couples, as well as individuals struggling with eating disorders, in my conveniently located office in downtown Berkeley. From our first meeting, I develop an approach that is responsive to your needs. You may already have a clear idea of the problems you want to solve or you may need time to explore your experience and to clarify what you’d like to change.
Throughout this process, I provide a safe space for this exploration to take place. Clients consistently tell me that my responsive and interactive style is helpful to them. In some cases, you may want me to just listen. Other times, it’s most helpful for me to actively ask questions and offer new perspectives. Through our explorations together, we will reach new understandings about your situation. Over time, this can lead to profound shifts in your day-to-day life and in your experience of yourself.
